Tim Styles and the Liberal Democrats will continue the fight for a fairer funding deal for Cornwall at Westminster.
Fairer funding for our NHS and Schools
We will would invest an extra £35 billion in our health service and social care over the next five years and an additional £10 billion reversing Tory school cuts and hiring 20,000 more teachers, so that pupils can leave school happy, healthy and with the skills they need to succeed in life.
Tackling the climate emergency
Global warming is the biggest issue facing all of us right now.
The Liberal Democrats will invest £100 billion in measures to tackle the climate emergency and protect our environment.
In addition to planting 60 million new trees per year, our new climate emergency ministry will ensure 80% of our electricity comes from renewable sources by 2030 and we achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2045.
Stopping Brexit to protect Cornish jobs
Liberal Democrats believe we are stronger as part of Europe and have always campaigned to Remain in Europe.
We do this because leaving the European Union will impact on jobs and our economy. As one of the poorer areas of Britain, Cornwall will be amongst the hardest hit.
A vote for the Liberal Democrats is a vote to stop Brexit and protect Cornish jobs.
